A career in optics, Bernard’s experience spans time as a lens technician for one of the leading glazing houses, to directorship of a frame distribution company, Capitol Optical. Bernard also has a strong marketing bias with a degree in marketing. He wants to attract younger companies to join the FMO and, with their ideas and enthusiasm, to drive the organisation forward.
“In the face or ever increasing competition, the FMO is the place to air our views and to assist others by offering a different outlook on optical affairs,” he said.
