Barry Dibble – Vice Chairman

A new dynamism is coming to the FMO which will benefit its members, believes Barry. “The FMO plays a vital role in UK optics and this can be expanded considerably,” he said.

“I like to take a broad view of the optical market, although I come to optics from an engineering background and have a technical perspective on issues.”

Barry worked for Rodenstock for eleven years and was involved in all aspects of ophthalmic manufacturing and distribution processes until 2001 when he established the UK subsidiary of WECO, the optical machinery and equipment suppliers.
