Chris Tyler
Chris Tyler, Birmingham Optical Group CEO, is vice-chairman of OEMSA, the FMO's ophthalmic machinery, equipment and supplies trade association. Supporting OEMSA Chairman, Andy Yorke, who is also Topcon Chairman, Chris has been widely welcomed for the enthusiasm that he has for driving UK optics forward.
"Having worked in the instrument market for 20 years the time is right to devote some of my entrepreneurial spirit to the professional bodies and I am honoured to take on the role of Vice-Chairman of OEMSA. My business has seen the tremendous benefits of FMO membership and I feel the time is right to repay that. The FMO has the power and kudos to drive the market forward, embracing companies under one umbrella for the greater good of the industry."
